INTEGRATED WASTE WATER MANAGEMENT STUDY FOR KUCHING CITY

 Undertaken by Special Project Unit

Started in May 2002

Current Status : Preparation of Interim Report

Objectives :
  To alleviate the deteriorating water quality in Sg. Sarawak to achieve water quality of Class IIB Standard by year 2020, rendering it suitable for recreational use and for supporting sensitive aquatic species.
  To enhance the status of Kuching as a Healthy City through systematic efforts to improve the quality of the environment.
