During the second Healthy City Conference in Miri from 12 March 1995 - 16 March 1995, the Heads of relevant Departments presented what their Departments intend to do in the next five years towards achieving Healthy City – Kuching based on the various problems which have been identified at the first conference.

During the workshop sessions, the participants came up with strategies and activities to tackle issues that the State Secretary and the Honourable Chief Minister wish the City to solve first. Most of these issues will need multi Agency cooperation and coordination to solve.

Some of the workshop groups also came up with strategies and activities to solve issues that the public had identified (through the questionnaire survey) as being of concern to them. The proposed plans were presented to a panel chaired by the State Secretary.
